Made for You
Let’s Create Something Uniquely Yours
Custom jewellery is a chance to create something especially for you. Together, we’ll explore what you’re looking for and turn your ideas into a piece that reflects your personal style.
Your design can be inspired by a meaningful place or memory, colours you love, something in nature, a favourite gemstone, or simply an idea you have in mind.
You don’t need to have the whole design figured out before getting in touch — we can shape the idea together.
How it works
Creating a custom piece is a collaborative process. You don’t need to have every detail figured out before getting in touch — an idea, a colour palette, or a favourite gemstone is enough to get started.
1. Share Your Idea Tell me what you have in mind. This could be a type of jewellery, colours you love, a favourite gemstone, or inspiration from a place, memory, nature, or something else that feels meaningful to you.
2. Design & Gemstone Selection Based on your ideas, I’ll develop the design and carefully source gemstones that suit the piece. We’ll discuss the options together before the final design is agreed upon.
3. Creation Once the design is confirmed, I’ll begin handcrafting your jewellery in my studio, bringing all the chosen elements together.
4. Your Finished Piece Your finished jewellery is carefully prepared and sent to you.
What can be customised
Your custom piece can be created as a necklace, bracelet, or pair of earrings, with different elements chosen to make the design personal to you.
You can share your preferences for gemstones, colours, materials, size, and overall style, as well as any inspiration you'd like me to consider. If you don't have a particular gemstone in mind, I can help you explore options that suit the colours and feeling you're looking for.
All gemstones and materials are carefully sourced by me specifically for your design. This allows me to select materials I trust and that are suitable for the piece I'm creating.
Because every gemstone is naturally unique, colours, shapes, inclusions, and patterns will vary — and that's part of what makes each custom piece one of a kind.
You're welcome to share images as inspiration to help communicate a style, colour palette, or feeling you love. However, I won't copy another artist's or designer's work. Every custom piece will be an original design created especially for you.
Starting Your Custom Design
Getting in touch about a custom piece is completely free and doesn’t commit you to starting a design.
Once we’ve discussed your initial idea and you decide you’d like to move forward, a €150 design fee is required to begin the design process. This covers approximately 3,5 hours of work, including our discussions, developing your design, selecting and sourcing gemstones and materials, research, and adjustments during the design stage.
The design fee is non-refundable, as it covers the time and work involved in creating your custom design, even if you later decide not to continue with the finished piece.
I’ll begin working on your design once the €150 design fee has been received and the required agreement and Terms & Conditions have been signed and accepted.
Once you’ve approved the final design, I’ll confirm the final price of your jewellery. Production begins once the full amount for the finished piece has been received.
A few things to know
Timing Every custom piece is different, so the time needed will depend on the design, the availability of gemstones and materials, and the creation process. Once we’ve discussed your idea, I’ll give you an estimated timeframe for your piece. Your terms also state that custom delivery times are indicative and may need to be adjusted when reasonably necessary.
Design Changes We’ll work together on the design before your jewellery is created. Once you have approved the final design and production has begun, further changes may no longer be possible. If additional changes can be made, they may involve extra costs.
Natural Gemstones Every gemstone is naturally unique. Variations in colour, shape, transparency, inclusions and pattern are part of their natural character, which means your finished piece may differ slightly from photographs or examples. These differences are part of what makes each piece one of a kind.
Handmade & Unique Each custom piece is made individually by hand. Small variations in dimensions, shape, weight and finish can occur and are a natural part of handcrafted jewellery.
Custom Pieces & Returns Because your jewellery is created specifically for you and according to your approved design, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to custom or personalised pieces that fall within the legal exception. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding conformity and guarantee.
Questions? If there’s anything you’re unsure about before starting your custom piece, please get in touch. I’m happy to answer your questions and explain the process before you decide to begin.
