How to Measure Your Bracelet Size

When you buy a new shiny bracelet, you want to enjoy wearing it. Here is a short guide to help you find the perfect fit, so your bracelet won’t be too tight or too loose.

1. Before you measure

Make sure you measure when your wrist is at room temperature and when you're relaxed. Your wrist will expand when it's warm and shrink when it's cold, so avoid measuring right after a jog or a nice warm bath.

Don't rely solely on standard sizing guides when choosing your bracelet size. Whether you prefer a snug fit or a little extra room is entirely up to you.

If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Don't pull the measuring tape too tight.

A measuring tape is the easiest and most accurate option, but you can also use a piece of string or a strip of paper. Just make sure it doesn't stretch.

2. Stretch bracelet

For a stretch bracelet, measure around the widest part of your hand, usually across the knuckles. Hold your hand as if you were putting on a bracelet, with your thumb touching your little finger.

This measurement is important because the bracelet needs to slide comfortably over your hand.

3. Bracelet with a clasp

For a bracelet with a clasp, measure your wrist circumference just behind the wrist bone.

Depending on how you like your bracelets to fit, you can add a little extra length for a snug, comfortable, or looser fit.

When measuring, keep the tape comfortably against your skin without pulling it too tightly. This will help ensure an accurate measurement and a bracelet you'll love wearing.
